Our Mission: To raise healthy animals and promote awareness of the benefits of goats milk.
Thank you for your interest in Serenity Acres Lamancha Dairy Goats. We purchased our herd in 2007 and immediately fell in love with them. Our kids joined 4-H and the local goat project. We have been fortunate to have our goats displayed at the American Royal with Purnia, and have participated in the Kaw Valley Farm Tour with Screamin' Oaks Farm. We have come down a long road but it has all been worth every bit of it. People ask us why we picked Lamanchas. We tell them because they are soooo sweet and loving. Yes, they do have ears and yes, they can hear.
We have worked very hard to keep our herd healthy. We attend every birth and every kid is taken. We raise our kids on heat treated colostrum and bottle fed pasteruized milk followed up with a bottle of warm water. Also, the herd is vaccinated for tetanus, dewormed regularly, and CAE/CL tested. We feed good quality alfalfa and brome hay, 16% Dairy Moorman's/ADM feed, and free choice of salts and minerals.
